MISSION ESCAPE GAMES/ ESCAPE GAME INFORMATION

WHAT IS AN ESCAPE GAME?

It’s a game where you have to escape from a locked room full of puzzles. It’s part scavenger hunt, part puzzle-solving mystery. You’ve got one hour on the clock to make your escape.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PUBLIC VERSUS PRIVATE ESCAPE GAME?

A public escape game means you should be expecting to work with other people outside of your group. Everyone who books into a public game on the same timeslot will become one team. Making a public game private requires purchasing all the slots in the timeslot.

A private escape game means it is only the team that you bring with you, up to the designated capacity of the room.

All of our games here at Mission Escape Games, West Hartford are private.

WHAT IF I DON’T WANT TO PLAY WITH OTHER PLAYERS?

All of our games here at Mission Escape Games, West Hartford are private. So you will not have to worry about playing with others aside from your own team.

WHAT IF I DON’T ESCAPE?

In an event that you don’t make it out, you do become a part of our gameā€¦ Just kidding! Our staff will come in, explain how to solve the remaining puzzles so you’re not left hanging and then you’re free!

HOW LONG IS THE GAME?

The game itself is 60 minutes. Please try to arrive 15 minutes before your mission starts, and allot for an extra 15 minutes after just in case there are any questions, you want to take pictures, etc. In short, prepare for about 90 minutes.

WHERE IS MISSION ESCAPE GAMES LOCATED?

Mission Escape Games Connecticut is located at 76 LaSalle Rd, Unit 403. It is on the second floor, above Bricco’s.

WHAT ARE YOUR BUSINESS HOURS?

We are open from 12:00PM to 11:00PM Monday thru Saturday. Sundays, we are open from 10:30AM to 9:30PM.

HOW DO I GET THERE?

If you’re coming from the south, it is easiest to take South Main Street to Ellsworth Road. Make a right onto LaSalle Rd and Mission Escape Games will be on your right.

If you’re coming from the north, take CT-218W/North Main Street. Make a right onto Farmington Avenue, and then a left onto LaSalle Rd. Mission Escape Games will be on your left.

HOW’S THE PARKING?

There is plenty of street parking available but we recommend arriving early to find your spot. We do not provide parking.

HOW DO I BOOK MY SPOT?

You can make your reservation on our Missions Page after choosing which mission you want to challenge. Or give us a call at 860-337-1821 and speak to one of our staff.

HOW MUCH IS A TICKET?

The price varies by game and location. Please choose the game that you are interested in and how many players you will be bringing, and the price will show up.

DO I NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION?

Yes, all games require an advance reservation. If you would like to play the same day, please call us to check the availability.

ARE WALK-INS ALLOWED?

Please call to check if there’s availability! If there’s no availability, we would have to turn you away so it’s much safer to make a reservation in advance than just walk in.

HOW DO I MAKE A RESERVATION?

Please visit our Book Game page and follow the prompts. Or give us a call and speak to one of our staff.

IS THERE A CANCELLATION POLICY?

Once you make a reservation, all sales are final. There are no refunds, no matter what the circumstances may be. However, you are allowed to reschedule with at least 24-hour prior notice. A $40 rescheduling fee may be applicable.

ARE THE MISSIONS SCARY?

Our rooms are neutral-themed and okay for all ages.

WHAT IF I WANT TO BRING CHILDREN? HOW OLD DO THEY HAVE TO BE?

There is no minimum age requirement but ages 12 and above are recommended. Any players younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian.

AM I ALLOWED TO TAKE PICTURES/VIDEO?

Sorry but we don’t want any secrets to leak out! So we don’t allow pictures/video/snapchat/instagram/etc inside the rooms. You’re welcome to take pictures in the waiting room!

AFTER RESERVING/ CANCELLATION POLICY/ ETC

I MADE A RESERVATION FOR MY GROUP OF FRIENDS BUT WE HAVE ANOTHER PERSON WHO WANTED TO JOIN LAST MINUTE. CAN THEY JUST COME IN WITH US?

Please give us a call and check if there are any openings. We’ll do our best to accommodate your group.

WHAT IF I HAVE A LARGE GROUP OF FRIENDS?

If you have a large group, please call in advance so we can try to accommodate you! You may need more than one game at a time.

THERE’S ONLY TWO OF US… CAN WE STILL ESCAPE?

Yes you can! You’ll have to cover more ground. All of our games here at Mission Escape Games, West Hartford are private. So you will not have to worry about playing with others aside from your own team.

SOMETHING CAME UP AND WE CAN’T MAKE IT TO OUR RESERVATION. WHAT CAN WE DO?

Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. All sales are final so there will be no refunds. However, rescheduling can be processed up to 24 hours before your scheduled mission starts. A $40 rescheduling fee may be applicable.

DO I NEED TO PRINT OUT MY CONFIRMATION EMAIL OR TICKETS?

Please give us a call to confirm that all your information is correct and then you won’t have to worry about bringing anything on the day of the game.

WHEN SHOULD WE PLAN TO ARRIVE?

Please arrive and check in at our front desk 15 minutes before your game officially starts. That way you have time to use the restroom, we can explain the mission and answer any questions, and get you locked in.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M RUNNING LATE?

We have a five-minute grace period! But after five minutes, the game clock will start. You’re welcome to play with the remaining time you have left upon arrival.

Whatever you feel comfortable walking around in! You’ll be moving around as you look for your clues.

IS FOOD AND DRINK ALLOWED?

Sorry but no food and drink is allowed inside the game except for bottled water.

DO YOU ALLOW ALCOHOL?

Unfortunately, we do not allow alcohol on our premises.

DO YOU DO CORPORATE EVENTS?

Yes we do! Please go over to the corporate event page for more information.

DO YOU HOST BIRTHDAY PARTIES?

Of course! We’d love to celebrate with you! Please book for a private event for your birthday party.

DO YOU DO BIRTHDAY PARTIES FOR CHILDREN?

We recommend participants be older than 10 years old. And adult must accompany any players younger than 18 years old.
