MISSION ESCAPE GAMES/ ESCAPE GAME INFORMATION

WHAT IS AN ESCAPE GAME?

It’s a game where you have to escape from a locked room full of logic puzzles. It’s part scavenger hunt and puzzle-solving mystery. You’ve got one hour on the clock to make your escape.

WHAT IF I DON’T WANT TO PLAY WITH OTHER PLAYERS?

Great news!  All of our games are now private due to our new safety policies to ensure only you and your party members will be in the rooms together.  Your safety is our number 1 priority and we want to ensure that we can keep you and your group safe.

WHAT IF I DON’T ESCAPE?

In an event that you don’t make it out, you do become a part of our game… Just kidding! Our staff will come in, explain how to solve the remaining puzzles so you’re not left hanging and then you’re free!

HOW LONG IS THE GAME?

The game itself is 60 minutes. Please try to arrive 30 minutes before your mission starts, and allot for an extra 15 minutes after just in case there are any questions, you want to take pictures, etc. In short, prepare for about 90 minutes.

AM I ALLOWED TO TAKE PICTURES/VIDEO?

Sorry but we don’t want any secrets to leak out! So we don’t allow pictures/video/snapchat/instagram/etc inside the rooms. You’re welcome to take pictures in the waiting room!

WHERE IS MISSION ESCAPE GAMES ANAHEIM LOCATED?

Our Anaheim location is at 400 Disney Way, Unit #305. It is inside the GardenWalk mall, on the top floor (Sky Level).

WHAT ARE YOUR BUSINESS HOURS?

Hours can vary depending on the time of the year. Please visit our “Contact Us” page which should list our most current hours of operation.

HOW DO I GET TO MISSION ESCAPE GAMES ANAHEIM? (Driving Directions)

DIRECTIONS FROM 5 FWY NORTH BOUND: Exit Katella Ave/Disney Way. Turn Left on Katella Avenue and head straight. Once you pass Clementine Street you will see GardenWalk on the right which includes restaurants like Cheesecake Factory, California Pizza Kitchen, Bubba Gumps etc. Right after Bubba Gumps on the right is the Katella Entrance to the parking structure.DIRECTIONS FROM 5 FWY SOUTH BOUND: Exit Disney Way and Turn Right. Pass Clementine Street and then Left at the next light (Anaheim Gardenwalk). Proceed down the driveway which curves left into the parking structure.

Head to the very top floor and look for the signs directing you to Fire & Ice, Johnny Rockets, or House of Blues on the back side of the structure. We are located at Suite 313 right across from Fire & Ice on the upper level.

Lost tickets will incur a payment of $24 so don’t forget to bring your tickets with you to any store/restaurants you plan on visiting during your stay.

HOW’S THE PARKING?

GardenWalk has a parking structure. Parking may get busy in the structure therefore it’s advised to arrive 30 minutes prior to your start times.

There are 2 entrances to the GardenWalk Parking Structure. One is on Disney Way and the other is on Katella Ave. Either entrance will allow you to enter into the structure. Parking is free for the 1st hour and Mission Escape Games can validate your parking for the 2nd hour. If your party is planning on visiting a restaurant in the mall you may be able to get your 2nd and 3rd hour free as well. Please verify with the restaurants you will be enjoying on how much they can validate so that you can enjoy GardenWalk much longer.

HOW DO I BOOK MY SPOT?

You can make your reservation on our Missions Page after choosing which mission you want to challenge. Or give us a call at 657-234-5625 and speak to one of our staff.

HOW MUCH IS A TICKET?

Each game has its own specific pricing. Please choose the game that you are interested in and how many players you will be bringing, and the price will show up.

DO I NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION?

Yes, all games require an advance reservation. If you would like to play the same day, please call us to check the availability.

ARE WALK-INS ALLOWED?

Please call to check if there’s availability! If there’s no availability, we would have to turn you away if you just walk in so it’s much safer to make a reservation in advance.

HOW DO I MAKE A RESERVATION?

Please visit our Missions Page for detailed instructions. Or give us a call and speak to one of our staff.

IS THERE A CANCELLATION POLICY?

Once you make a reservation, all sales are final. There are no refunds, no matter what the circumstances may be. However, you are allowed to reschedule with at least 24-hour prior notice if you would like. There is a $40 rescheduling/consolidation fee for any changes within 24 hours of your scheduled start time. All reschedules must be done via phone during our normal hours of operation.

ARE THE MISSIONS SCARY?

Our rooms are neutral-themed and okay for all ages except for Escape the Darkest Hour, which is our horror-themed room. It is always a private game and we recommend ages 18 and up.

WHAT IF I WANT TO BRING CHILDREN? HOW OLD DO THEY HAVE TO BE?

There is no minimum age requirement but ages 10 and above are recommended. Any players younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian.

AFTER RESERVING/ CANCELLATION POLICY/ ETC

I MADE A RESERVATION FOR MY GROUP OF FRIENDS BUT WE HAVE ANOTHER PERSON WHO WANTED TO JOIN LAST MINUTE. CAN THEY JUST COME IN WITH US?

Please give us a call and check if there are any openings. We’ll do our best to accommodate your group.

WHAT IF I HAVE A LARGE GROUP OF FRIENDS?

If you have a large group, please call in advance so we can try to accommodate you! You may need more than one game at a time.

THERE’S ONLY TWO OF US… CAN WE STILL ESCAPE?

Yes you can! You’ll have to cover more ground but if you’re up for the challenge then you’re more than welcome to play with 2 players.  The recommended number of players vary by room but are typically around 6 or so players.

SOMETHING CAME UP AND WE CAN’T MAKE IT TO OUR RESERVATION. WHAT CAN WE DO?

Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. All sales are final so there will be no refunds. However, rescheduling can be processed up to 24 hours before your scheduled mission starts. There is a $40 rescheduling fee.

DO I NEED TO PRINT OUT MY CONFIRMATION EMAIL OR TICKETS?

Please give us a call to confirm that all your information is correct and then you won’t have to worry about bringing anything on the day of the game.

WHEN SHOULD WE PLAN TO ARRIVE?

Please arrive and check-in at our front desk 30 minutes before your game officially starts. That way you have time to use the restroom, we can explain the mission and answer any questions, and get you locked in.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M RUNNING LATE?

We have a five-minute grace period! But after five minutes, the game clock will start and you will play with less time. If you arrive after 15 minutes of the game clock starting, you will no longer be allowed to enter.

Whatever you feel comfortable walking around in! You’ll be moving around as you look for your clues.

IS FOOD AND DRINK ALLOWED?

Sorry but no food and drink is allowed inside the game except for bottled water.

DO YOU ALLOW ALCOHOL?

Unfortunately, we do not allow alcohol on our premises.

DO YOU HOST BIRTHDAY PARTIES?

Of course! We’d love to celebrate with you! Please book for a private event for your birthday party.

DO YOU DO BIRTHDAY PARTIES FOR CHILDREN?

An adult or legal guardian must accompany any players younger than 18 years old.
